MY LITTLE GIRLS HEART PROBLEM

i am very angry at this time.. i took my 7 yr old little girl to the hospital yesterday....she has had heart problems since birth.

i explained that we were no longer jw,s and would accept blood if necessary during open heart surgery.

the doctor told me that if that was the case, the operation must proceed without delay.

I'm so sorry to hear about this ordeal that your daughter is going through.

I remember when we told our daughter's cardiologist that we were witnesses (my husband was going along with it as much as he could to respect my beliefs).

He looked at me with this sort of amazement. I look back now, with that same sort of amazement. Truth be told, I remember her doctor saying the same thing about growth.

Hang in there, at least you know now and go forward.

Please keep us posted so we can send warm thoughts and prayers your way.

I like Mediterranean Vegetable Chips, Red Hot Blues, Rice Crackers, popcorn, Gardettos Snack Mix.

Wow, that sounds healthy...that is a good thing. Popcorn is good esp w/ parmesean cheese thrown in.

I've seen the red hot blues, haven't tried them yet, I'll give 'em a shot.

this is the way I see it...

if it ain't broccoli or carrot sticks or has no preservatives, it's probably junky

anything from pizza to coke (your choice) to reeses and.....

hi i'm new to this forum.

i've looked at other websites to and i see all this about the jw's, now i'm not one, i was raised a jw but made my own decision and my parents respected that.

i've read so many horror stories, but my life wasn't like that at all, as a matter of fact, when they first knocked on our door and my mother accepted a study our life changed for ever, it was for the best in many ways.

I think our posts keep showing up at the same time, and I got off track.

Rebel8 sounds alot like me. I got baptized when I was 14. Way too young to make that decision. It's like marriage.

Would you let your 14 year old get married? 16?

You know, had I known then, what I know now, no, I would not have gotten baptized. Because I ended up losing so many people that I love. I try to not let it get to me, but truthfully...

When you're raised as one, especially, it can be a very difficult thing to decide not to be a witness any longer.
